Add a Leaf for '05 4X4

Just ran across this site a couple of days ago, and haven't been able to keep away from it! Currently, I have a 2005 F150 SuperCrew 4X4 with a 2.5" leveling kit on the front. I would like to add a leaf to the rear, as I like a little stiffer/heavier load handling option for the rear. I've searched around here to see what people used and some seem to go with the skyjacker AAL. Where can I find these to order online, and about how much for a kit? Will the kit come with the necessary u-bolts, or am I going to have to find them somewhere else?

Any help appreciated. I've gathered alot of info from this site already (I'm trying to decide what size of tires to go to from my stock 255-70-17's).

Thanks again.

I got mine from summit racing for $135, the P# is SJA-R3415. It comes with the the longer U-bolts and everything you will need for the install. I love mine!! I dont have 17" rims so I cant really help you there, I have the stock FX4 18's and recently put the 305/65/18's on and love them too!

Got mine for $125 from autoanything.com which had free shipping at the time. Quick shipping and came with everything you need to install.

Thanks. I'll check Summit out. As for the tires, I'm leaning toward the 285-70-17 BFG All-Terrain TA/KO's. I thought about going to the 305's, but just don't know. It seems that the 285's are a more common tire size, unless you go all the way up to the 315's (which the wife already told me no--she hates getting in my truck as it is) .

ak123, if you happen to find a 2WD AAL please let me know as I'm looking for one also.

The ProComp AAL (#13134) is for both the 2wd and 4wd models.

And its the long style one, so the ride is a little smoother than the Skyjacker (which is the short version), from what I've read.

Yep, just add new U-bolts and hardware and you're set.
