Leveled after using a jack and jacking it up 2.75 inches.
Going up an additional 3in, will I need any additional brackets, extenders, spacers or what have you? ProComp recommended a drive shaft spacer. Can I use the same shocks (ProComp MX6) that came w/ the lift kit?

Check out photo gallery.

Most of the lifts companys set their lifts up so that they will have a prerunner stance once installed...

Yeah but I talked to ProComp and 4WheelParts and they both stated that it doesn't suppose to set that way mine is. Maybe an inch or less but not 3in. ProComp stated that measurement from the center cap to the wheel well lip are suppose to be: front 30.25in and rear 29in.

Left them as they came from factory. ProComp tech. said they come pre-configured for my setup. Don't want to lower them because it rubs, barely, on turns.

The measurement in the front show that it went up 7.75 inches. Again, measuring from the center cap to the lip of the wheel well. From 25.75in to 33.75 inches in the front( give or take). The vacuum lines and ABS lines are at max stretch. Regardless, the rear is not high enough for the total 9in I suppose to have all together.

I'm no lift expert but the front lift sounds a bit higher than normal.

Exactly, but front doesn't seem to high to me.

It sounds like your coilovers are cranked about 2 inches. I know Procomp told you that they arn't cranked but I'm going to bet my money that they are. I know my friends Kings came cranked 2 inches for his Tacoma. He called King directly and they said no they are not cranked but after talking to a few people at King, he got the answer that they actually come adjusted 2 inches.

If that is the case I don't mind that at all. The taller the better don't you think? Just as long as it doesn't case any problems. Just got to get the right rear block and AAL for the rear.

Sounds good to me too, just don't make your truck sit higher in the rear!!

The Procomp 6" lift gives you 4-1/2" of lift in the rear with blocks correct? I'd get rid of that set-up and go with a 5" block and a 2" AAL. I'd say thats your best bet.

Hmm, maybe an AAL from Wal-Mart!?

I have a Deaver AAL and I honestly can't tell a difference in ride quality.

The 6" ProComp lift comes with a 2.5" rear block that sit below the stock 2" block. I can replace both of this with a Fabtech 5" block but that will only give me .5" more. Not worth it. Fabtech said that it is not recommended to stack the 2" stock w/ their 5" block.

ProComp's AAL is b/t 1.5" and 2". Still I won't get the 3" I need.

BWD, I have never heard of shackles lift kits. How do they work? Where do they fit into?

What about replacing the entire rear springs? More $$ but I don't have to worry about blocks and AAL. Smoother ride, no? One concern I have is it sagging after a number of years. Is it true that after market springs aren't as good as stock dealer springs?

I would pick up a set of skyjacker 4" lift leaf springs, and use that along with the stock 2" blocks, and call it a day..
