I called National Tire and Wheel. The 1295.00 special is for a ProComp 6" system (Fits 97-03 F150 4wd).

Thanks alot Blue. I found a post below this one after I posted my ?. The truck I saw was white w/ a Mustang in tow & a motorcycle in the back. My tractor has the front end loader with a 60" belly mower. I don't have a TT, yet. I am considering one in the future and I'm sure the ones I'm going to look at will be tandem.

I was just wondering how your truck behaved during towing. I guess I'm safe enough with just getting a 4" drop hitch? Brake upgrades will be right after the wheel/tire upgrades.

It tows fine. I am however looking into a brake upgrade also. I do not tow that often but when I do I just feel like I'm putting some stress on the stock brake setup. Are you familiar with an affordable brake upgrade? BoB

IAN51279... The below member is the one I was talking about. His write-up sounds good and I beleive I'm going to look into this type of setup. I beleive his member/screen name is PurPony. I stated I thought they were from FireStone or JC Whitney, His post says he got them at Summit Racing... BoB

purpony This is the only decent pic i have of a car and trailer hooked to my truck. If you look close my truck is still sitting completely level. When I had my mustang on the trailer without the airbags my headlights where pointing to the moon!!

Like I said... summit racing-

here are the firestone air bags I have

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

$230!!

Thanks a bunch BoB. I was just looking at some of your pics. Is that the same truck that was in the wreck or did you buy a new one?

Also, did you have to do anything to your driveshafts?

Thanks for answering all my ?'s.

IAn51279... The truck that was wrecked, was totalled by the insurance company. The right side frame rail was bent in two places and it bowed the drivers side frame rail. It did not look that bad to me but the diminmished value was 18,000 dolars. I took the insurance company by out. It went kinda like this;
I paid 27500 for the first truck(during the employee pricing deal)The sticker was 41,000 I was given 10,000 off the sticker plus 3000 in rebates and around 500 more dollars for being a Disabled Veteran. The damage was estimated at 18000 dollars. The insurance company paid us the sticker price less the milage(1.00 dollar off for every mile, truck had ~46xx miles on it) so we received a check for ~36000. I will add that my wife and I paid cash for the truck so we owed nothing on it. I then replaced it with another like truck except with the chrome package. It cost me 33,500( after employee pricing and rebates plus DAV discount). So we more or less came out slighly on the positive side.

As for the Drive shaft's, Nothing to rear shaft. front shaft (per directions) needed to be reclocked. I took it to a drive line shop. They reclocked and balanced the shaft and rebooted it for 15.00. I have NO vibration in 4HI or 4LO. and No vibration on the highway. BoB
