What is the point of getting a leveling kit and an add a leaf?

I just got a 2.5 lvl kit from AS, and I keep reading post about people getting both the lvl kit and an add a leaf. Is there a reason for this?

it is all done by what ppl want. i am adding a 2.5" AS in the front and the stock 4WD blocks to the back of mine. i want the 4WD look to my 2WD. it is just what you want.

the reason is people want to lift the entire truck not just the front. some people like the back a little higher then the front like myself.

booo thought you might like it. Btw that was 2" lowered front, and stock rear end height.

For those that like to tow and have a leveling kit, they soon find themselves with the "sagging butt" look that NOBODY likes. An add-a-leaf helps offset this drawback, by maintaining a "stiffer" rear-end suspension for towing.

my opinion is people that want 2/2.5in suspension "style lift" and not a body lift i dont see the point of doing that just doesnt make sence to me
