6" Lift with 33x11.5/18

Would it look ridiculous to put a 6" suspension lift with 285/65/18 BFG All terrain tires. They are 32.8 inches in diameter on the FX4 OEM wheels. I just cant afford the extra 1,500 on a tire and wheel package right now.

The 33's will look pretty small. Gotta get a 35" tire to make it look good with 6"

That is what i figured. What about with the RCD 4" suspension system? They will still look a little small, but i figure not as ridiculous as they would with the 6" system.

With 4" it might not look too bad

I have the 285's on my stock FX4 and think they look small. I am thinking of moving it up 3-5" and going with 35's.

I have 285s on my F250 16x8s, pretty beefy wheels, sure makes it fun to climb in without running boards

I had 33's on my truck stock, so ya they will look too small with a 6" lift. Liked stated above you may be alright with a 4" lift. Just save up for the 35's, if you go with the 4" lift, later on you will wish you had gone with the 6' lift.

thanks for all the input. If I do a lift I have decided that I will go with a 6" kit with 35x13.5x17 tires!
