help - 2000 2wd rear lift

Hey guys.. I just picked up my new (to me) f150. It's an '00 2wd. It currently has a 3" fabtech from what I've been informed and is sitting on 35" bfg muds. The rear doesn't sit high enough imo. The truck sits 'level' but it I just don't think it looks right. It needs an extra couple of inches out back. What are my options to achieve this? What is the most affordable route? Here's a couple pics... Thanks guys!

Add a taller lift block or an add-a-leaf.

Yeah, I think you're right. It has a leveling kit + the lift kit which is why it sits this way. It's kind of growing on me and it seems to be the popular look. I think I'll save myself the trouble and keep it as it is Thanks guys!

Add a leaf. About $85.

Hey cazzy, can you do me a favor and tell me EXACTLY what has been done to your truck? Lift, tire size, everything. I LOVE that look.

Thanks.

your new truck comes with fabtech's control arm lift kit. its rather unreliable and known to fail very easily.

looks like the previous owner doesnt know the truck , your front suspension appears to be fabtech's control arm + 3" coil plus their 3.5" spindles. your rear suspension looks to be 3-4 inches. id also recommend an add a leaf or two if you want it *** end up east coast style.

dont take it offroad and dont beat it, the welds are very poor from factory. pop your head in there. you see those grease fittings? there are two on each arm where they meet the frame and one on each balljoint. you want to grease them all once a month, otherwise you are asking for it.

fabtech also has poor quality control, that kit happens to be the one with the WORST qc. plenty of people including me have had theirs fail on the road even though we had never taken it offroad.

I think it looks awesome. Save the money and put them toward new tires! Looks like from the picks they worn out. Put you some either BFG All-Terrain or BFG Mud-Terrain on thier. Both brand new tires would make that truck stand out.
