I wanna run the daystar 2 1/2" spacers with a fabtech 6" but everyone keeps saying the steering will bind up and its harsh on the wearing parts. anyone here run this setup? if so have you had any issues??

How many miles have you put on your truck since than?
My ball joints were ruined with only 20,000 miles on my truck. I wouldn't do it.

well i would run the total chaos uniball upper control arms once my ball joints gave out. any issues with the steering? someone said the truck was "binding" when they ran that setup so they immediately took off the spacer kit...

. . or are you trying to find a set-up?
trying to find a setup i figured id do the 6" fabtech, 2 1/2" spacer kit, and a 3" body lift on 38's but i dunno if that spacer kit will work or not with the fabtech setup. i work at a shop and my mechanics say that it will not work and the truck is "hard to steer" but i dont understand how that is possible? i see guys running the setup i just wanted to know if there were issues with it i dont wanna ruin a brand new truck!

After Spacer:

Even with my front suspension at full droop, my UCA does come in contact with my coil..
