2006 PA body lift....??

Hello all!! New to the board and first post!! I am looking to put a PA 3" body lift on my 2006 standard cab, but I am having a heck of a time tracking one down. The performance parts store here locally (Dallas area) quoted me a price of $1,000, which I think is kinda ridiculous. I feel like I can surely find a less expensive set-up online, but can anyone point me in the right direction?? None of the 4wheel sites seem to carry the 06 version. Thanks guys!!

The 06 and 07 kit shouldn't be any different than the 04-05's. $1000 for a Performance Accessories body lift installed sounds high, but I've seen higher quotes. The PA kit for the 04-07's is around $250 I believe. Body lifts are time consuming and tedious to install and that is why installation cost are so high.

Hmm, I didn't know that. I'd suggest contacting Performance Accessories directly and checking.

1000 for a body lift seems high. almost worth it to just get the suspension lift.

Yeah, body lifts are a great value, if you can install it yourself. There is just so much time involved in the installation that shops charge an arm and a leg.

Thanks so much for the replies everybody!! Yeah, the guy at the shop told me that the 06' models are a real pain to install for some reason. Moreso than the 04-05. Maybe it has to do with the bumper brackets.....?? But I will check with PA directly and let yall know what I find out!!

2006 Rear Bumper Brackets are different than 2004-2005...2006 bumpers are mounted at an angle rather than vertical. Had mine fabricated, still have the template if you're going to do a body lift. Already talked to PA, expecting the 2006 kit out in a couple of months.

925.00 for the PA Body Kit, PA Gap Guards and labor.

Good Luck!
