Caster Question
Just had my 97 F150 4x4 aligned and the tech told me that the caster is out .06 degrees on the right front. I've always noticed a slight pull. Should I be concerned??
Should I spend the money for the caster kit and correct it?

Caster is a non tire wearing angle, it only affects handling and steering wheel return. You could correct it if it really bothers you, but it wouldn't necessarily hurt anything to leave it be either.

Big El, maybe this will help.
Draw a straight line on the ground. Now put both feet up to the line. Your cross caster is 0 degrees. Now drop your right foot back an inch. Your right side is now further back. This will cause a pull to the right, but they are still going straight. Because things are still in-line tire wear and suspension wear are moot. It is an angle that makes a vehicle want to track straight and return to straight after a turn. Ever notice how sensative the steering is in reverse? Imagine no caster.
Anyway .06 is not much to be out. Usually alignment tech's will recommend to fix any alignment angle that is out...correctly so, but your cross caster is more important than single caster readings. If your cross caster is over .25 degrees, this is where most tech's take notice.
Good luck....
