Would traction bars (rear) increase my lift? Has anybody tried them or know anything about them? Any advantage in dual rear shocks or just overkill?

No, they won't affect your lift.

 

Are they worth it on unlifted trucks from a stability standpoint? I'm especially interested in the benefit from these versus the benefit from a set of swaybars (and I'm already familiar with those, having upgraded swaybars on several past vehicles).

 

They are designed to stop axle wrap and wheel hop. If you are having a problem with this, they would be a good mod.

 

Heh. I don't have wheel hop and don't even know what axle wrap is, so I guess I don't need them.

i have the procomp traction bars for the 03 f-150, they work great, i used to get real bad wheel hop and these put a stop to it know i get none, here is a pic
