What sizes fit on these??

Wanted to bump up to a larger tire size but wasnt sure what size fits on these rims. I'm running the stock 265.70/17's now but wanted to increase the ground clearance slightly w/o dropping $1.5K on a suspension lift. What are my choices that will fit w/o problems??
Thanks all.

You should be able to fit up to a 285/70R17 in there without any problems.

265s will fit easily.

Yeah the 265s on there now fit fine, look kinda small though (to me). The metric conversion for 285/70/17 worked out to 32.7/11.2. Does this mean that 33's would fit, just being a touch over 32.7? And what about the width? Im just not familiar with the size of these rims.
I was more concerned with the rims and the biggest I can mount on them w/o trouble. Those rims shine up like none other and think they look great, just want to go a touch higher and bigger with the tires. Truck just looks a bit too 'civilized' with the stock ones. Not looking for the 'eats small children and imports' look, just a bit more aggressive.
Also, if I needed a inch or two of clearance for the rims, is cranking on the torsion bars an option? I read about somewhere on here and wanted to ask about that also. I'm brand new to the truck side of things so if that sounds crazy be gentle. Running the 1320 I know, this is a new venture for me.
Thanks again everyone.

Look into getting a leveling kit...autosrping or daystar. Then put 33's on it. I think you'd have problems up front at stock height with 33's.

Tire manufactures round sizes up to the next whole number. A 285/70-17 is a 33 inch tire. Your OEM tires are approximately a 32x10.50-17. Also, the OEM Ford wheels are 17x7.5 inches, so a 285 would be a great match.

In my opinion 285 is about as big as you want to go on the stock wheels...bigger than that, you can fit it, but its so easy to run into wear problems.

You can crank the torsion bars, but you should not have to do it to fit the tires. I would go ahead and do it to level the truck out though (you should get an alignment afterwards).

Truth be told I have never seen a leveling kit for this model truck, simply because the torsion bars are a free and easy way to do it. Besides, any other method that levels the truck and doesnt remove the torsion bars effectively does the same thing...keyways, which add more load the bars, same as cranking them, but this allows you to crank them farther, or you can put heavier duty bars in there.

Thanks Wandell and Johngs, thats exactly what I was looking for.
How much clearance can I get from the torsion bars? I wont mess with it if I dont have to but out of curiousity how high can they go over stock? Does doing this have any detrimental affect on anything? Any recommendations on tires?
Thanks again guys

a cranked torsion bar will ride rougher and will increase wear on ball joints i believe. imo, if you crank them, keep it reasonable, like 1" or so, but definitely get an alignment after.
