steering wheel vibration

steering wheel vibration

my truck is a 02 supercrew fx4.it is very tight,but i seem to feel all bumps and vibrations threw the steering wheel.has anyone had this trouble?

I don't have an FX4, but I definitely feel a lot more through the wheel when I have the air pressure up around 35 PSI as compared to 28-30 PSI. You say it's tight, but get a second opinion. Get it up on a lift and have it checked out, especially the pitman and idler arms.

how would i find out exactly how much air to run in a set of 285-70-17bfg-at-ko's

Most of the BFGs like to run around 35-45 PSI depending on how you use the truck, but it can also depend on what size rim you are running them on.

i just checked and the driverside had 39,so i let it to just under 35 on all and it helped alot
