Here's a pic of my 2000Expi w/ a 5" RCD kit. The finish and quality of the kit is really outstanding. The polished pieces really stand out. I've had several folks stop me on the road to comment on the truck and the lift. If you are in San Diego and want the kit, try calling ORW in El Cajon, ask for Sonny and tell him RON B sent you.

Enjoy...

I ordered the RCD kit yesterday for my SuperCrew. I paid $1450, the freight was free. I don't see how the other kit manufacturer's are going to be able to compete for what they are charging. They will have to drop there prices or RCD may raise theirs. Or both.

Hey JerryH,
Where did you come across a deal like that? $1450 with free shipping sounds like a hell of a deal, that I don't think I wanna pass up. Any details will be greatly appreciated.

Got it at National Tire and Wheel. The number is 1800-847-3287. RCD Kit was $1,459.95 with free freight. Blows my mind that Bilsteins are included for that price. The salesman was DJ, seemed like a good guy. He did they would be moving offices today but he could be reached there this evening. The National Tire and Wheel website has an error for the RCD kit. The price is the same no matter what motor you have. It's $200 more if you have the E40D trans so make sure you know that before you call. When I talked to them yesterday they had kit's in stock.

I would have gladly paid $200 more to have polished compression struts for my non-E40D tranny. Too bad they aren't available.

Other than that. No Complaints. Just need to find time to install skid plate, and trac bars.

Wink

Sounds good, that's where I was planning on ordering my tires from anyway. At the moment I was leaning toward the Trailmaster lift just because Tyres International is selling it for $1089.00 and I'm sure that shipping is extra, and that would be around $40.00. So is an extra $321 really worth it? I'm not going to be doing any hardcore offroading....

I've heard a tun of bad stuff about trailmaster. I was also talking to the owner of a local 4x4 shop and he sells trailmaster, but says its junk and alot of people come in and get the trailmaster switched out for rancho kits. I can't decide between the rancho and the RCD kit. Did anyone install the RCD themselves? Or the Rancho? Thanks.

Sdiesel, Tyres does not have them in stock. I couldn't find one place who had TrailMaster. See, if I do get into a situation where I need tough offroad capability I'm not sure I want spacers. But who knows, maybe they are strong enough.

Check out your tranny pan. If it is "square", you have the small tranny.
