Y2K "Sport 4X4s," came with tow hooks, leather steering wheel, color keyed bumpers, "Sport Cloth" fabric on the seats (different from any other fabric used by Ford)17" Aluminum wheels, Sport 4X4 decal, only colors were Black, Bright Red, White, and Silver, no two tone.

I think the "ORP", has different schocks also.

Maybe you guys just don't understand-leather stearing wheel,tow hooks,and the 17" wheels are part of the xlt package.My Y2K sport 4x4 has none of the previously mentioned options.It is an XL.The "sport" package is the color keyed bumpers and grills.All 4x4s have at least one skid plate and you can order the rest for relatively cheap from ford.There is a 4X2 sport.Correct?I thought so.No off road 4X2, right?See what I am getting at.

OK, As far as the true off-road package goes, it comes with tow hooks, 17' Rims, 3 piece skid plates, a stiffer shock,chrome bumpers key-colored grill, and a transfer case cooler. As far as being an xl or xlt goes, xlt comes with electric accessories (cruise, power windows, pwr locks) If you have an xlt, or xl with a leather steering wheel cover that was an add on option through ford, instead of a Lariat package. Same as if you had an XL with carpeted interior, and bucket seats. The thing is dealers like to put on add-ons to any package, so you can get any package any package and mix and match any extras through the dealer. The towing package is a bad *** investment too it comes with a bigger radiator, tow hitch, heavier rear suspension, and a stronger HD battery. Maybe this clears stuff up for you guys. But the leather steering wheel isnt standard for an XLT.
