Had the same issue with my '02 FX4 (5.4L). Service manager stated that they have had a couple of the 02's with the accelerator vibration issue. They rerouted the accelerator cable and all is right with the world. Hope it works for you as well.

I always thought this thing was too quiet, and I couldn't feel a thing. I want the foot vibration option. Maybe then I would know that the truck is running. Maybe I'll try a new exhaust first. I'll see if I like hearing it instead of feeling it.

LOL... You guys are too funny. Count me in too for the vibrations in the gas pedal. Truck is going in for an oil change on Wednesday, plan on having them check this out...
