I got a ******* X-2000. They build custom trucks so there's alot of attention to form AND function. It's pricey but I think it's the best. Best fit and finish and all that mounts to the truck is 2- 12" aluminum" "L" brackets with no drilling. The whole hinge rig is a stainless scissor type deal- real heavy duty and is attatched to the lid. It drops /slides onto and interlocks with the "L" brackets and a single **** (tightened by hand) screws thru both from the bottom to secure it. To remove the lid unscrew the ***** on each side and remove the whole lid. That easy. No ugly rails and "C" clamp bulls#!t - just 2 small clean looking "L" brackets stay behind.
Painted and shipped from Calif. to NJ was a grand, maybe 11 hundred. Shipped it right to my garage door. Took about a two and a half hours to install (you'll need a buddy to help) cause I did it in Jan or Feb. and it was cold as all hell and lining the locks up right got a little tedious when you can't feel your fingers. They also send an installation video to help.
Hope that helps. I think their website is ******** .com
