GG - dealer did the front end and fogs for around $1200 before I took delivery, without a deposit - guess they were pretty sure I was going to buy it

Wheels and tires were bought off of eBay for around $1200 delivered, but you can buy them direct from the same company - www.afswheels.com. They are knockoffs of the factory wheels, but they are great quality - have not had any problems with them. They also sell the L wheels at www.tirerack.com.

Bike rack on the bed cover

GivingGround,

Sorry about the slow response on this... I've been kinda busy the last week or so. But if you look at this picture you can see where I mounted the Yakima Rail Rider tracks on the bed cover. I mounted these by drilling and taping the bed cover. Then just as the picture gets out of focus (sorry about that) you can see the tower mounts in the tracks. If you want/need more picts/info, let me know.

azboy,

I'm glad you posted your pics. Now I can see what the tailgate Ford emblem looks like on a white truck. I'm thinking about doing this to my truck. How much and where? Thanks.

My screws an all white with gray interior, that's how I got the name "whitengray". White hides dirt well. Don't have the time
for weekly massage sessions with my truck, sorry!

Talking Hell Yes on the Avalanche Badging!

All I have to say is that after you do that....go out and buy a Whipple S/C and beat the S*** out of every Supercrew out there. Maybe a post will be added out here that there is a "rogue Supercrew", Uhhhhh, I mean "Pseudo Avalanche" running around kicking some Blue Oval A@@!

Oh yeah, a few more reccomendations:
Add Krager Slot Mags
Put a large plastic dumpster in the bed
bust out you rear window and install pet door
get a bob seager CD

Look, the only Poser I know is Scott Stapp, we all know he wants to be Eddie Vedder.

In summation, I've seen that white truck and it's a clean ride.

Shake your money maker.

Harley I have a question for you, how do you like those procomps? Are they the mudders or not? Also are then a stiffer ride, noiser, do you recommend them?

I have a 4x4 with the 17" wheels and plan to replace my existing tires with the procomps when there time comes. I would be doing a torsin bar lift in the front and putting on Bilstine shocks. That would give it a little bit of lift, plenty from what I have heard for these tires.

Your honest opinions would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

dcovell, I really like the procomps mine are the all terrains. They are louder than the stock tires but not too loud for me. It is nothing like the noise from some mudders or anything. Mine fit right on the stock orp 17" wheels without having to do any lift. The height of the tires adds about 1" over all to the height of the truck. You do notice a little more of a step to climb in with them. The nerf bars are helpful there. I recommend them. I noticed 4wheel parts has another 4 for 3 deal going on them also, you may want to call them to check that out. I am running the stock shocks on mine also. Take care, hope this helps.
