captain chair seats

Does anyone know if the captain chair seat option include a fold down arm rest, or just a consol / cushioned rest?

Gen 3 and newer models will not have the fold down arm rests (which are a bit short IMHO) Gen 1&2 have the arm rests and shorter, narrower console.

The top of my console is my arm rest (just lean a little to the right) as well as a great place to hold my make up while I am driving.

I have an 01 Screw with the captains seats and leather. The center console is a bit low and consequently, my arm hangs in mid air when I drive. My old truck had the fold down armrest that I could keep my elbow on and keep a hand on the wheel. Any possibility that I could retro fit a fold down armrest on to this chair. My shoulder is feeling it even now...

Folding Arm rest

Anything is possible. Does not sound cheap. A least expensive solution might be to have an upholstery shop recover your consol cover and add more padding.

Have you tried lowering your seat? I know I can make mine too high or too low by raising and lowering the seat. I am assuming you have power seats with the leather interior.

Sure wish they had left the armrest in the rear seat like on Gen I and II, or is it still there if you have bench seats??

The GEN III does not have the armrest in the back seat with or without bench seats. I don't miss it because I don't sit back there but I can see it as being a niceity for passengers in the back (assuming there are only 2)

For must have an entire department for changing seat configurations around even in the middle of model years!
