snug lid owners

I cannot decide on which lid to buy. I would like to here from some snug lid owners.I hear the snug lid is easy to take off. There is not much of a price gap between A.R.E. and snug lid , around here. Thanks for your opinion.

Thumbs up

I have had my SnugLid for a little over a year and love it! I think the Snug has a better fit than the others.

GOOD LUCK!

The Snuglid is great! I've had mine for almost a year and haven't had any problems. I feel that it is the best looking lid that is out. The ******** x-2000 is another good lid that is pretty comparable in looks to the snuglid. I haven't had to take it off yet, but it should be a peace of cake. Good luck in your selection.

It's an older picture but shows the lid real well.

SNUG

Follow my photo link in my signature to photos of my SnugLid

I prefer it, because it is one of the ONLY lids that follows the rear curvature of the cab. MAKE SURE you get a finished edge, No Charge, that way you don't get that ugly black plastic molding that most Mfgrs stick on the edge, to hold water and come loose later on. A.R.E. LSIII's look like a casket lid on top of a Super Crews bed.

Not trying to start a fight, that's just my opinion.

Opinions are like belly buttons, everybody's got one.

I paid $700 for mine painted and installed. I did not get the carpeted liner.

Mine was $639 installed no carpet liner. Fully removable but I have yet to take it off in just a little over a year. Also very water tight!

A friend of mine just purchased hers for $659.00 which included the carpet liner. It looks sweet and matches the bedrug.

ARE

I've got the ARE and love it. I like the fact that it does sit up a little bit which gives me a lil' more height underneath it. I don't know about the Snugs, but the ARE also has a continuous hinge across the front that helps keep it from "racking" ... I even can drive with it partially open (Lear has two small hinges).
