Former Explorer owner

I traded up to a 2001 SuperCrew XLT from a 1996 Explorer XLT AWD with 5.0 V8. The Explorer was a good truck but the Screw can haul lots more, is a lot more comfortable and roomy.

As far as fuel economy, the Explorer with the 5.0 V8 was no better than my 4.6 SuperCrew.

Thumbs Down Comment....

my Thumbs down comment is that it takes longer at the gas station..... because I am answering questions to the gawkers and admirers of this fine truck....

I have no disappointments with this choice.

Hey Deuceman, the deuces are wild, if you get this truck, you have a royal flush dude!!!!!

I ahve had mine for 3 weeks and LOVE IT!!!!!

I ahve been in Nissans for 18 years and this is my first full size, DAMN DO I LOVE IT!!!!! My kids (11, 8, 6) know say they can travel in comfort. It is alittle big, but like they say "Big is Good" In fact, big enough that the wife WON'T DARE drive it, she says NO WAY, TOO BIG...

... That ain't all bad if you know what I mean!!!!!!

GO FOR IT, remember, you can't take all that $$$$$ with you, ENJOY IT!!
