Hi all- new member here.

I have read all the posts of people who have upgraded the manual slider to the power slider and have a question. Is it possible to order the new power slider and only install the motor parts to the manual slider?? It seems this may be possible as the 2 windows seem to be from the same manufacturer ( CR Laurence).

Any ideas?

No, it's not. They use entirely different mechanisms and run on different tracks.

Thanks for posting the pics!!! I think I will try looking into gettting another switch like the pedal adjustment switch when I do this.

Also how quickly does it open? Also from the picture it looks like the opening window is on the outside instead of the inside. Is this right? Not a big deal but can it be force open from the outside?

 

The opening window is on the inside. The picture doesn't show it very well.
