They do in the F250s. There isn't much demand for a 1/2 ton crewcab/8ft bed. It's hard enough to find a scab/8ft...

True they do offer it in the f250 but its just as rare to find a gas motor in a crew cab f250 long bed and I don't have a need for the extra maintenece cost of a diesel not to metion they haven't had a reliable diesel since the 7.3

Ford owns a big stake in cummins. They should just start putting the cummins in the super dutys and put the powerstroke in the dodges. FORD (CUMMINS + TORQUE SHIFT) > dodge (powerjoke + 47re/48re/68re).

You can get a cummins in the commercial f450 and up not sure why they don't sell them in the smaller trucks

The SC with a 6.5' was the main reason I just moved up from my '06, once I realized the additional bed space, the short bed days were numbered. I love the 6.5 SC (it is a bit longer when navigating in parking lots but not a big deal)

6.5 Box for me! Anything smaller is useless for what i need a truck for.
BTW...if i didn't need a truck, I'd definitely be driving a MKS.

If i had the chance to order one all over again i would have bought the 6.5 bed. the 5.5 is tiny.

BTW, i also still wish they made the flare side bed.
