If I had the 5.5' bed I would of had to sacrifice the beer cooler.
That would be horrifying!!!

I got the 6.5 bed on the Screw. Defintely much more useful. Sure, it's a little tougher in parking lots but, so what? Docking a boat can be tricky too but I love it

My buddy said he can't get his tool box in the short bed because the wheel wells are in the way.

Add me to the list! A little tougher to park and backing up, but not an issue if you take your time about it.

I used to have a dodge cummins with a 8 foot bed. Having gone from that to a 6.5 foot bed, I dont even know what the 5.5' bed owners are doing with their trucks. Seems like everything I haul is 7+ feet.

Any idea how much longer the SCREW / 6.5 is over the SCAB / 6.5?

I think its about a foot or so. If I remember right, the screw has a 157" wheelbase and the scab has a 145" wheel base. Though my scab/8ft has a 163" wheelbase
