Rack and Pinion for 99-03 F-150 4X4?

Anybody ever put a rack under there 99-03 F-150 4X4? I know there are kits for the 2WD drive/Lightning guys with great results. I'd like to put one on my truck cause the 38"s really do a number on front end parts. Anybody know where i could find a how to or maybe a kit?

JJ said his kit wont work. Just not strong enough. Im going to look into a 04+ F-150 rack i guess.

If you do this mod, keep us updated. Also Wayne, I think I remember you once posting about idler arm replacement. Did you ever find a replacement idler arm that works better than OEM?

I have been through about a dozen Moog arms on my truck. Nothing lasts!

yep yep yep.

i think yall will eventually find that with stronger OUTER steering components the inner steering will start to fail. Like the steering box itself... they are not that strong.

ive went though a steering box AND 3 power steering pumps.

Do yall have steering stabalizers? that will help keep your tie-rods together.

and also when my truck was IFS i had more problems with the MOOG ball joints/ tie rods then i did with the fatory sealed units.

the fabtech steering stabilizer made a difference for me running 35's. I would not run 37's-38's w/o it.

I will sell the truck before going SAS unless i win the lotto. I wanna stop dropping thousands and thousands into the truck. I'd rather get a new project. I do have a steering stabilizer. I will let you know when i find out some more info.

BTW, Bert send me that damn email!!!!
