I had similar problem, when temp dropped the pedal was sticky off idle. I fixed when I installed throttle body spacer. The blade was sticking on buildup crap in the tb. Cleaned tb and lightly sanded blade outer edges and works flawlessly. Hope this helps some out there.

Frozen throttle cable

I found my answer to this problem when I installed a tb spacer. The throttle blade is stuck in closed position within a buildup of goop leftovers from fuel and hydrocarbons. I removed tb and used cleaner to get most of it out and then using emery cloth , cleaned blade edges and smoothed the tb surface. worked like a champ. Now in Oklahoma it's 10 degrees overnight this morning the Throttle was perfect. Hope this helps for some.

I had a similar issue on a Dodge truck and it was this same thing. The throttle body was sticking on the build up. Funny how things repeat huh
