I called my dealer yesterday for my first oil change. Going there because it's $15. Anyways he told me they use Semi synthetic Motorcraft 5w-20 and change every 3000. They also have 5w-20 Fully synthetic if I want. Only $8.95 a quart x 7 quarts = equals I'll be looking else where for fully synthetic oil.
In my taco i was using Mobil 1 Extended life 15k Fully Synthetic and changing at 10k. still looked new when i changed the oil.
Mobil 1 does make 5w 20 Fully synthetic extended life, which I have found online to buy, if I can't find it locally.

I've been using 5w20 in all my Fords since at least 2002. It's readily available at Wal-Mart, O'Reilly's, Advance, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, in many different brands: Motorcraft, Pennzoil, Valvoline, Quaker State, Mobil 1, and many, many others.
I cannot understand why you have difficulty in your neck of the woods.

Don't do this - here's why: https://www.f150online.com/forums/v8...il-choice.html
NO additives are required or advisable.
BTW - MC semi-syn is also cheaper than CasterOil and at least as good...
