Price Increase
Just heard from my dealer that another price increase has taken effect.
He said you will now get charged for the auto transmission.
It was mentioned that my truck would now cost $700 more.
Don't have any more details, someone will need to get facts regarding this.

earlier this year the base price for a lariat 4x4 invoce was $27031 and currently the base is $27415 that may be the increase the dealer was speaking of. heard nothing about the automatic are there any manual supercrews out there?
Watch Out!
I had a print out from a dealer that had totally fictional pricing on it. This included the transmission mark-ups from another truck line and various BS pricing although the header said "SuperCrew". This invoice inflated dealer costs about $2000, then they were willing to sell me the truck for $750 over "dealer cost". Didn't even want to kiss me either. I went to another dealer and got a much cheaper price. When I backed out the $130 factory fee and $18 gas I got down to a price that was exactly $500 over what what carsdirect.com showed as dealer price. Thousands below the other clown and the best deal I could get in the area after walking out of three other dealerships. The Supercrew is in demand in south Louisiana.

5.4, Limited Slip, Power Bench Seat, No Mods YET! Of course I haven't taken the truck home yet either as I write this, trying to get a grill change from the dealer.

Hey in case you didn't notice you are dealing with a crook and I would tell him so. Anyway use internet or Email solicitation to several dealers for the best price. Numerous people from all over the country are doing it and buying S-Crews from $200 below MSRP to $500 above. I got mine for invoice saving $4200 off of MSRP and yes there is a big demand for these trucks here in Colorado also. Good Luck!

By the way go to Edmunds and research the price for both MSRP and Invoice. Arm yourself with this knowledge before you buy! http://www.edmunds.com/newtrucks/200...ylesidesb.html

On my truck, the dealer cost I got from Edmunds was $26,339. I got $24,684 from Autoworld, and $25,122 from Yahoo. The actual dealer cost was within $100 of the Yahoo cost I obtained from the Net. As usual, buyer beware.
My dealer, Covert Ford in Austin, sold me the truck for $250 over dealer invouce, and I have a copy of the actual dealer's invoice to prove it. Covert were good, respectful, low-pressure folks to deal with. I bought a truck off the lot, and pick it up this coming Saturday. If you're in the Austin area, I recommend them as a dealer; they have a large selection, and in my experience, they were a pleasure to do business with.

Another price increase that has just taken affect is for destination/delivery. It was $690 when I ordered. It's now $715, up a quarter.
When my SCrew came in, the salesman said I was getting a break because the price just jumped. Sure enough, it's on the sticker.
