Anyone Drop the rear on their Supercrew?
I'd like to lower the rear of my 2wd Supercrew but am not sure how to go about it. I'd also like to replace all four shocks once the rear is lowered in order to improve the ride and handling. Can anyone help me out with some info on how to do this? All of the kits I've seen lower the front and rear. I think the overall height is fine, I would just like to level it out.

I had the front lowered 2 inches and the back 4 inches. It looks great. They used Belltech products ( lifetime guarantee ). New coil springs in front and shackles in back. I would think you could use 2 inch shackles in back and that would level it,
I lowered the back of mine 2". Its done just by replacing the rear shackles

I have noticed your supercrew for months. I just got my truck and desire to lower the rear. I was going to fined out which shackle kit you used. I ordered the velvet ride shackle kit. Is this the kit you used?
Does the front side marker light kit hender your vision? I have the rear installed.
Nice looking car wash. Great side line job for a fireman.

Its just the bell tech rear shackle. about $60 I think I paid. No, front marker light covers dont seem to affect anything. The car wash biz is good too, especially since it is right next door to my fire station.. handy huh? city pays me to watch my wash.. I love this country.

Everyone, Thanks for the info!
Hey One50nPump, Great looking truck! Did you install the shackles yourself or is it something I'll need to have done at a shop? Did you get your hood and other accessories through the net? Thanks
