Post McGard Wheel Locks for 17" Supercrew wheels

I tried with no luck to get McGard wheel locks from any 4x4 place this week. Advised to contact dealer for OEM version that McGard makes for Ford.

Of course when I go to dealer they give me wrong locks and don't have a clue what the right number is. Would anyone happen to know the Ford part number for the wheel locks for the 17" ten-spoke aluminum wheels so I can make an **** out of the know it all(nuthin') parts guys???

tlister,
I send email to McGard at autoinfo@mcgard.com to get the correct numbers. These are the numbers I have for my SCrew. YL3Z-1A043-AA for the wheel locks and F75Z-1A380-BA for the spare tire. Hope this helps.

Question

MN-Trap,
That is great, I have also been looking (just wish I found the spare tire lock before they stole my spare tire).
What does the spare tire lock look like (where does it lock).

Could you also let us know what you paid for these items.

Thanx,

Dutchy,
The spare tire lock is pretty cool. You insert the lock over the winch bolt and it locks in place. The key is about 3" long and it connects to the jack handle. Works great. I suggest that you order the spare keys from McGard after you get the locks. Just in case you lose the orginal keys. If I remember the extra keys were only $15 each. I put them in my safe, just in case.

MN-Trap,

Thanks for the info. My salesman gave me a set of locks to try today. They do have a slightly different base part number at the front, but the middle and end is the same so who knows. Didn't cost anything to try. If they don't fit, I'll have him add the number you gave me to the spare lock order i have now. Thanks again.........

Dutchy,
What happened to your spare?? They swipe it during transit or what??? That stinkssssss.

Angry

Yep, they stole it while it was in transit, 240 dollars down the drain. The spare is steel and that is a little less then the other four tires, but it still sucks that this money comes out of our pocket since our deductible is 500 dollars.
Once I get a definite "NO, you are not getting a penny from us" I will let the world know who the shipping company was and what I think of them, but for now I want to give them a chance to pay.
