My truck came with with a red outside and goldish/tan inside stripe. It was OK. I thought about layering a black stripe over the gold stripe and I think that combo would have looked better.
I have had several people to tell me they like the truck better without the stripes.
I think I have a picture of the stripe if you want me to e-mail it to you.

i peeled the 4x4 stickers off with nothing but a fingernail. wiped what little residue was left (hardly any) with a t-shirt. you'd never know it was there.

has anyone taken the F150 Triton V-8 fender badges off. in an earlier tread someone mentioned they have a rivet holding them on. if this is incorrect and all that stands between me and removing them is glue...they're gone.

My wife wanted them off of there too, but according to my dealer there are rivets behind there. Anyone know for sure?

there are holes behind the F150 emblem (at least there were on my 98) I took them off and replaced them with ones that just had F150 with no Triton on the bottom. It looked a lot smaller after I did the swap. As far as the pinstripping goes, after you pull the sticker off, 3M makes an adhesive remover (Wal mart has it) works great. My two tone white/silver Lariat should be getting built today.. im getting excited!
