Looks like noon shots aren't your wheels best friend. What wheel are those anyways?

I can't wait to go to the formula 1 race in november! Tickets are over a 1000 for the grandstand...so I may not be in the grandstand lol...depends on what my wife says..

I second that! It seems ridiculous to charge 50 plus, all they're doing is swapping out bolts with an offset washer added.

I was trying to calculate my pinion angle and whether I needed the shims last weekend, after some research and driving the truck around I'm almost convinced I don't need them. Don't have any vibration, but I have heard if the pinion angle is wrong the u-joints could suffer.

The angle of the tranny and pinion should be close to the same degree of angle.(meaning Paralell to each other) If not your tailhousing bushing and seal or u-joints could suffer. If I remember right my tranny was just below 2 degrees down but because I was so low and I have a custom 2 piece driveline I had to raise the tranny up 5/8 inch and raise the center support bearing.

Using my iPhone and an app I measure somewhere between 2.5 & 3 degrees down towards the rear on the trans and the diff was in the neighborhood of 1.5 degrees up towards the front. The diff is just about straight with the drivelive. I drove it some 250 miles this weekend and never felt any kind of vibration. Does it sound like its right about where it needs to be?

You have less than 2 degrees difference. You should be pretty close. Maybe a 1/4 inch shim under the tranny mount. You want at least a degree for the u-joint so the bearings will spin. What was the driveline degree?

I took some more measurements, but not on level ground as I did the first time. Trans; -5 degrees, driveline; -2.5 degrees, and diff; -4.5 degrees. Instead of shimming the trans will a pinion shim get it where I needs to be?

Your front and rear angles are within 1 degree of each other which is fine. Looks like you got it.
