does anyone know when ford is going to release the 150 supercrews. my local dealer is telling me sometime in feb. but they don't sound very confident. thanks

 

Two dealers in Dallas tell me early Feb. release. They supposedly started building on Jan. 3 (JOB 1?)

 

I just surfed through Ford's site looking for Supercrew news, such as arrival date. I found one pop-up window that says "...arrives in dealerships in March of 2000."

Think you may be right in March. I ordered one and he said early April. Originally dealers were to get them the second week of Feb...now "early' March for the lots.



FYI- Just got the Supercreww brochure...not bad could of had a bit more info considering most dealers are clueless on these trucks!!

thanks for the info guys. i ordered one in mid jan. have a build date of the week of feb 7.

 

cabframer -- Our first one was dropped off this morning (Sunday 2/6/00). We're 400 miles from the Kansas City assembly plant so your dealer should start seeing some real soon. No sticker on vehicle so Ford has not released for sale as of yet.

Added in Edit: Sticker and invoice received in mail this morning (Monday 2/7/00). Ford must have authorized pre-sell upon receipt.

I assume you work for a Ford Dealer in South Dakota. I did not understand your last post as to whether you have actually started receiving SuperCrews that can be sold to the public or you received one that was a special situation. I ordered one back in Oct. 99 and was told it would be at dealer this week. I am just trying to figure out if they have started arriving at various dealers which means mine is probably not far behind or if they haven't then I still have some wait left. Thanks for any info you can share.

Klloyd -- Super Crews are being shipped to dealers. They are available for sale or delivery upon receipt (assuming dealer has received the Certificate of Origin and a priced window sticker). Approximately 3,000 Super Crews are assembled and awaiting shipping approval. They are being stored at an offsite storage site near the Kansas City Assembly Plant.

Our first one is a 4x4 XLT with the 5.4 and standard 16" wheels. Fit and finish appear to be excellent.

 

Thanks for info, sounds like they will start to pop up soon. Do you know the number to check order progress?? I know I saw it on one of these threads or another database...no luck finding it now. I have the dealer number , order # but NO PHONE NUMBER!!! Thanks for any guidance.

f150supercrew, that number is 1-800-962-3746 . Remember this is a dealer number so you'll want to use the automated system. I use the year, model, order# route. Good luck!
