Finally!

Since 2000 when I graduated from college, I have been wanting a crew cab F150. It seems like every other day I would be online drooling over one of these trucks, plotting & scheming, trying to figure out how to get one. Unfortunately I could come up with no way to afford one. Then the new body style came out in 2004, & it sent my wishing into overdrive. Oh how I longed to have one of these great trucks. But circumstance was not on my side..........Until Now!

What a wonderful day it is. I will be picking up my brand new (to me) 2004 F150 supercrew lariat in Fort Worth, TX this Thursday! I'm so excited I'm about to pee. But the AGONY of knowing I bought this awesome truck, & have to wait 4 more days (stupid job anyway) to go pick it up.

Oh yeah, had a new baby girl too

Anyway, the truck is super nice, but about as stock as it comes (for a lariat anyway) so I look foreward to everyone helping me find all the coolest goodies for it.

Check out the pics in my gallery & let me know what you think. I got a REALLY great deal on it.

Thanks. Actually the baby girl is the "reason" we got the truck. Blessed we truly are!

Congrats, and nice job of getting the dealer pictures up.

You'll get a few surprises when you pick it up. In the pictures I can see a few options like Capt chairs, power rear slider, trailer tow package, 6 disk CD, adjustable pedals.

Haha by the way I had a child but back to the important thing... You should show this post to your daughter in sixteen years.

That was hilarious

Congrats on the new (to you) truck and baby girl.

I have a similar story. Wanted a new F150 in 2003, but couldn't afford it so had to settle for a Sporttrac. The new body style came out and I was glad I didn't get a new one in 2003, but still couldn't afford a new F150. Finally in 2006 I earned a promotion at work and was able to get the truck of my dreams. I can still remember the night I brought my SCREW home and just sat there in driveway looking at her and couldn't believe she was actually mine.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you all have a sense of humor. As far as future mods, DEFINATELY! Got my new truxedo bed cover a couple days ago. Love it, looks great. After the hollidays I'm gonna get nerf bars & a bull bar as well. Would absolutely love to get headrest dvd's installed for the kiddos (probably a ways off for that tho) & a back up camera / dvd / mp3 / bluetooth to replace the factory 6 disc.

New pics are probably gonna be put on the backburner until after the holliday rush, but the truck is everthing the dealer advertised. Great truck, verrrrrrrrrrry happy (for multiple reasons):santa:
