I have a 2002 2WD Crew Cab that I am saving money to get it lifted. If you want your truck lifted, do it, its your truck. I just can't wait to get mine lifted! Congrats on your first truck.

I thought that might be the case. What about the rear shocks, will they work?

Lift it! My first truck was a 94 Ranger that I had a 6 in lift and a 3 in body and it was 2wd and the shop who did the work kept thinking it was 4x4 cause of how it looked.

Leveling kits raise the front of the truck, Ford makes the Rake on our trucks 2" or 2 1/2" in the back than the front. Leveling kits are made to raise the front and give it a more level look. Ive also heard of people getting smaller blocks to lower the rear to match the front however.

well leveling kit for the most part on this forum is a 2 or 2 1/2" spacer for the front to level it with the rear. but i guess its also correct to say dropping the rear to level it with the front is correct as well.

if you want to raise the front i would go with a autospring 2 1/2" from ebay. $70 shipped to your door.
