Hi Denny!
The site had a data crash back in July 1999.
All the old (dormant) threads were lost unless they had been posted to again by July '99.

That's why so many of the old-old timers have zero posts.

Hope that works Denny. That was my first attempt at editing someone's profile. See if you can go thru the password process now.

I am back offically now

Thanks to Bluejay432000 and Rockpick for putting up with me in my attempt to find my old username from 1997 and getting it reactivated.

As I said earlier, I used this site back in 97 to research my truck before I ordered it and found out what options to get and what to pay for it.
It did not have a lot of members back then, but it was very helpful.

I came back every now and then for info as I needed it. My old 97 went thru lower ball joints quicky and I did some research on here. Also this site was great when a code popped up and I found out to replace a rubber elbow on the back of the intake where the PVC connects. (That saved my a lot of time and money!)

I had planned on keeping the 97 a couple of more years as I have a kid in college and one about to head off to college, but the 97 had a few "issues" I was ignoring that were going to cost me some $$ if I was to keep it a couple more years. Then I made the mistake of stopping in at the dealership to window shop and saw there was $8500 in rebates. 4 days later I was driving my new 2008!

So far I have added factory running boards, molded mud flaps, tonneau cover, bed liner, trailer brake controller and am waiting the husky floor mats to arrive. I don't plan much else at this time other than rustproofing.

Again, thank for the help in getting my account reactivated!

I found a old window sticker I never used from 97. Back then if you donated to support the site, Steve would send you window stickers.

My favorite picture of the old 97, pulling the MasterCraft out of the water at dusk.

Nice truck & welcome to the site. There's just something about a supercrew & the way it looks that make me never want to buy anything else but one forever.

Thanks for the comments.

The SuperCrew does a god job at pulling the dock out of the water.
