Back here after 11 years

Back when this site started up, I used it frequently to help pickout what I wanted to order on my 97 F-150 XLT Supercab, 5.4, etc...... I even found out whatto pay.

That truck served me well for over 11 years and 139,030 miles. It still looked and ran great, but I could see some big expenses coming up to keep it in tip top shape.

2 weeks ago, I wondered by the local Ford truck lot to do no more than window shop. Then I saw the sticker on one showing all the rebates available.

Long story short...... I am now driving a 2008 SCrew XLT. I have added the running boards, molded mud flaps and Extang Trifecta Tonneau .

Hoping to get at least 139K on this one also.

New 2008 XLT SuperCrew 5.4

Old 1997 XLT SuperCab 5.4 at work...

Thanks!
I did use shadow053 at one time, but it shows as being registered 0n 03-10-01. I am sure registered in early 97 way before I ordered my 97. The email I used back then has long been gone, no way to trace it back that I know of.

You must have been on the old electronic mailing list?
You might be able to at least find your old name, even if you don't remember it, seeing it might trigger something.

Choose Members List (above)
Choose Search Members (over on the rightside)
When it pops up choose Advanced Search
On that screen scroll down to
Join Date is Before Enter = 1970-01-01

When Steve moved all the mailing list members to this site they were given the computer generated join date was 1969 Dec 31st.

There are only 328 of you.
You can narrow it down some more if you know you posted under the old name.
Only 82 of the 328 ever posted.

To further narrow;
Only 42 of the 82 last posted before 2001-03-10 (your middle ID)

Thanks Raoul!

It looks like I have 3 accounts on here now.
h2oskier53, shadow053, and my original Denny.

I would like to reactivate "Denny" but the email address I used was abandoned long ago. Is there a mod who could change my password or email account?

I the meantime, I am loving this new truck. So far I have been getting around 16 mpg, which is more than 3 mpg better than the 97

I towed my travel trailer last weekend and was able to top a particular hill at 60 where the old truck was lucky to make 50.

I don't think you can use PMs yet, so if you will email me at bluejay432000 at Yahoo.com, I will change the email for you on the Denny account. Once we see that account functions, we can then delete the other two usernames.
