Getting a rearend UPGRADE!

Ok, I'm over the fact that I sunk the rear end and messed up the diff. So Its getting rebuilt next week with new gears, bearings and a superior LSD..... a Eaton Detroit TrueTrac.

The new LSD is going to be HUGE improvement over our weak stock LSD's.

Can't wait!

Are you sticking with the stock gear ratio?

Yes. As I dont have the $$ right now to do both front and rear diffs and I dont plan on going any larger with my tires.

Do you need LSD axles to be able to install Tru-Trac? I have a 3.31 ratio non-LS axle and want to get Tru-Trac, but I'm unsure if it'd be compatible with my current set-up.

Ok, its finally done!

New bearings all around, new axle seals, and a spakin new Truetrac. We reused the old gears as they werent worn wrong, the noise came from the bearings.

Its drives so smooth and the traction lock i get is amazing!
