Gas milage competition
I have every single tank of gas that I've ever put in my truck in my little book recorded with price, miles, and how many gallons. I do 80% city driving and my daily commute to work is around 4 miles total. Not even enough to get to normal operating temp. Anyways, on average I put 24 gallons in each fill up and get around 310-320 per tank = 13.3 mpg. Magna-flo, AF1, and no Gryphon installed yet. I drove to Lake Erie the other day and filled up and it averaged 14.58 mpg.
So far this year, the 100% bone stock 2007 FX4 is getting 14.8 MPG all city driving. Cross country trips were a mixed bag. I get 17 MPG at low altitude and high speed (75 MPH+), and 21 MPG at higher altitude and lower speeds (55-65 MPH). That's with a payload of about 600 pounds in the bed.
I have a 2005 SCREW with 6" lift, 34" Extreme M/T, Edge Evolution (on stage 2), K&N CAI, 1' Throttle body spacer, and i am lucky to average 13.0 almost all freeway.

shes not a scew or a 5.4L, but my SupCab 4.2L can do 21 mpg all highway, avg 17.6 all city. impressive numbers you guys are posting up. i guess it needs less gas to move a truck when you have more power.

And the more power comes from a larger engine which requires MORE gas.
Fuel (liquid Gold) Economy
The best i have ever got with my 07 S-CREW 4X4 6.5' box is 17.1 mpg and this was with 95% highway driving. I usually drive around 80% flat just above sea level highway driving and get around 16 mpg.
How much would a performance intake and exhaust add to fuel mileage? I would throw a tailgate party and celebrate if i could run 18's on the highway.

yall are making me jealous... i've been thinkin of takin my lift off and selling the lift to try and get back some MPG's...
11.6mpg around town. 12.6mpg on the interstate. doesn't matter how you drive it, thats what it gets!!
02 fx4, 6" fabtech lift, 295/70/17 BFG's (32.8" i believe), drop in K&N (i hate this thing), POS muffler shop welded in "catback" w/ 40 series flowmasters (something imma have to replace sometime).

My Milage
I used to get about 16 miles per gallon when I had 3:55's in the rear. Now that I have installed 4:10's I get about 14. Towing I get about 11 to 12. Depends on how much city driving I have to do. But it sure pulls the trailer easier. It used to take a mile or two to get to 65 unless I floored it. Now it does it very quickly. Taking off from a light is much easier also.
These milage figures are from my Edge Evo in level 2. My milage was worse before I got it.

I have a 2wd and I only get 18.4, all city. I am shocked that the 4x4 does not get much worse than my 4x2. I would have bought a 4x4. I baby the hell out of the gas and since I go to work at 5:00 AM, the stop lights turn into yield signs. I do get 26.8 on the interstate.

Dang, I could have had a V-8!
This would be the only reason i would buy a Chevy. Is this with the 4.8l?

5 MPG all city driving!
