I got a 01 screw w/ the 5.4. love it.

just hit 63k miles

only problems I have are the after market brakes I bought. Next time I'm going OEM. My engine just threw up 2 codes for running lean. And I've had problems with the moon roof in the past. (warranty covered the moon roof) other than that good truck.

 

man you guys are lucky ive had everything go wrong with mine from blowing spark plugs out of the block, misfires at least one a year to tranny axles going bad brakes dont last long on it. I know some of this i just normal wear and tear but the misfiring is terrible i have replaced everything three times and in the spring im going to put some motorcraft plugs and new inginition coils in it just to be safe. good luck on yours though

 

I agree. I have 01 Screw 4x4 Lariat and I love it. 5.4 is the way to go IMO. So far, i have 90K on it and all has been good. Just maintain it and you should be okay. Give it a bath once in a while.
