I was too early to get a 6.5' bed. If it was available on the '05 models, I would have a got one.

Now my '86 F-150 snow plow truck is a boat. It is a supercab with an 8' bed and a 7.5' Fisher plow up front. It takes 2 days just to walk around it.

I have one on order that will be built this coming week.

Do the Screws with 6.5 ft bed weigh over 6,000 lbs? Isn't that one of the requirments for the Section 179?

Probably not a boat, more like a barge. It is more length than I would want to parallel park with. I decided to stay with the 5.5 ft. bed. Be sure you get the reverse sensing parking aid system.

Parking in tight spots is the only thing that can be tough. Other than that its fine to drive around. I love mine.

That's the only thing I can see "wrong" with the 6.5' is parking. Dunno.

PB06FX4SCREW... isn't a cap a sin? j/k.

A Supercrew with a 6.5' bed is only about six inches longer than a Supercab with a 6.5' bed.

Actually, it's the other way around.

The supercab w/6.5' is 229.8"
The screw w/6.5' is 223.8"

Doesn't seem right, but that's what Fords site shows here.

Go test drive a Superduty crewcab with an 8 foot bed. That should make driving a 6.5 screw a breeze.

Your calling out numbers are wrong, dude. Click the link and re-read, then edit your post.

Love my 6.5' Supercrew . I would definitely recommend getting the rear back up sensors. With the sensor and the side view mirrors you can back into most parking spots without any problems.

Stealth is correct. The SCAB would be 229.8 while the SCREW is 235.8. It is only 6 inches longer just like Quintin said. I don't think it would be a "boat" at all.

I did the math and the 2007 Screw with 6.5 bed that I have ordered is only 8 inches longer than my current 1999 Scab.
