i bought my truck used from a dealership in sept 05. (i was only 19 and couldnt afford a new one.) in dec 05 i had the same prob a few of you guys have had, the ignition coil. had the sled in the back all ready for a weekend and the light comes on. i take it to the dealership and they told me 1000 in total, but the thing that i wasnt sure of was the "cowl". exactly, what is the cowl? they said it was leaking. the cowl between the windshield and the hood? i have always been under the impression that if i took my hood of the truck should stiff run properly? everything in there should be air/water tight, espicially something like a ignition coil!

 

Dude, are you SURE your not a engineer for FORD??? That is the EXACT type of reply i would expect from the Tech hotline......... LOL.....
