Trailer Hitch for '03 Screw Lariat

I'm looking to buy a class 3-4 hitch for my '03 Screw Lariat. I'm not familiar with the brands available. I can get a Reese hitch for about $139.

Also, do a need a drop drawbar? I have 17" wheels.

Thanks,
Randy

Reese is a good hitch and the price sounds good too.

As far as a dropped hitch. That all depends on the trailer you're pulling. If the trailer tongue is low and when attached to your truck you have to raise it so that it isn't level, YES you need a dropped hitch.

The trailer frame should be level with the ground when hooked up to your truck. If it is too nose high the trailer will not have enough tongue weight and won't track good.

Reese is fine for a class 3/4 hitch. I really like my adjustable mount and my Convert-A-Ball. Complete flexability for towing different trailerss and getting the right heights.
