Got new tires!!

I had the Pro Comp M/T 33/12.50/17s on for about 15 to 20 minutes and drove them right back and had the BFG 285/70/17s put on. The pro comps made my 03 FX-4 drive nearly as bad as my previouse 00 Jeep Wrangler. Which was unacceptable for a daily driver. Noisy, rough, walked the road, and caused extreme body roll to the point of dagerous at speeds of 60mph and up. I found it hard to believe these tires did that much damage to the drivability but they DID!! The BFG's give a slight vibration and harsher ride than the stock Goodyears but the are 100% better than the Pro crapps. I know Pro comp was a mud terrain tire but it sucked big time!! I probably would have tried Pro comp all terrain but it was not in stock so the trusty BFGS it was. FWIW I sold my stockers with 12k on them to my cousin for $300....not bad.

I've heard a couple of people comment that they were not happy with the Pro Comps. Did you wind up with the BFG AT KO's or MT KM"s?

^^^What he said. I have the BFG All Terrain's in 285/75/16 and I don't notice the problems you mentioned. I'm sure you will like them, they are good tires.

I replaced my OEM tires at 45K. I was looking for smooth quiet riding tires.....I ended up with Goodyear Fortera HL's. they are by far the quietest tires i have ever driven on.....they are not great in the snow but are enough for New England winter ON ROAD.....

Question HEY WANDELL

In your add you say that you have:

285/75-16 BFG AT KO's on 16x10 Eagle 102 rims

I am looking to get 16x10 FINN Off-Road wheels for my 97 F150 4x4. The wheels have a off-set of -15mm and I am looking to get the BFG's 315/75-16 TA KO's. If you could let me know any pros or cons about what I have brought to you attention I would appreciate it greatly. One last thing, at these FINN wheels good for HIGHWAY use?

I'm not familiar with FINN wheels. Mine have 4 1/2 inches of backspacing, which is what most wheels for out trucks have. I think you will be happy with the 16x10's and 35's. It should look sweet.
