New uses

Does any one have other uses for the second door on the overhead console? I dont have a garage door opener (not that this rig will fit in my garage anyway) I keep looking at it and wondering what else I could use it for. Its an 03 screw by the way

I have seen some posts that show this area, or the door in front of it, being used to hold an XM or Sirius display module. You might do a search of the threads and see what you come up with if this is something you'd be interested in doing.

Outstanding idea! How did you run your wires?

I took the console out. I ran one hot and one ground to the first switch and jumped these to the other three switches. Then I ran a four conduit wire to each switch.

All of these were tucked in the headliner and run down the pillar and ended up behind the drivers kick panel. From there, I tied in each device. Behind the brake pedal, there is a rubber grommet that I poked a hole in to run the hot and ground to the engine area.

I think there was another guy on this board that ran everything to a circuit panel behind the rear seat of his extended cab. He everything there fuses, relays.
