flag holder!

not sure where to really post this, but i thought that my fellow screw brethren could help. anyway, i posted this a while ago but did not really get any replies. i want to be able to put either the national ensign or the POW/MIA flag in the back of my bed. now, i was thinking on getting a standard flag holder and riveting it into the upper portion of the bedrail under the slider window. now, is that going to be sturdy enough? how about dissimilair metal corrosion. although, that should not mater as long as i use aluminium rivets. i am not talking about using it driving on the highway, or doing any type of mach speeds, just cruising around in the desert. an ideas, pictures? thanks all!

I would check out your nearest marine store to get a few options. You could even check 'em out on line. I wouldn't worry too much about disimilar metals, but I would try to find a place to use nuts and bolts. Use a little silicone on the bolts where they go through the body and cut yourself a small rubber gasket to put between the flag mount and body.
