BEst deals on Screws?

I'm in the market for an 03 SCREW, I work for a Lincoln Mercury dealer so I have a D plan pin. So far for a 2wd Lariat with a 5.4 $28k is the best deal I can cut. Anyone out there cut a sweet deal recently?? I know that the closer to the day that the 04's come out the more 03's will drop pricewise. Most dealers here in Atlanta are WAY overstocked, yet insist on not going below their invoice price!

I purchased a 2002 4wd lariat for $29.5k here in Augusta, GA. Of course, I had to wait until the dealership was stocked full of 2003 models. But that was the advertised window price without haggling....only had to make a deal on my trade-in. AND, got great financing.

My 2003 XLT SuperCrew is 10 days old.
5.4L
3.55 LS
Tow pkg
Bed Extender
Slide Rear Window
17" Wheel/Tire upgrade
Power Moonroof
Chrome step bars
Combo CD/Cassette
Sticker $31,810
Purchase $25,500

Since mine lacks leather and auto climate controls, I'd say your close. I wouldn't look for better discounts after the '04 rolls out. My understanding is they will produce both for the first year, the new '04 and a Heritage '04 ("old" style). They will ramp down the Heritage if it doesn't move so dealers aren't stuck with too many. Alot of people will wait a year for the '04 to shakedown.

Denver area - most dealers are advertising $10k off MSRP, but that is with $400 college and $1000 RCL rebates. Otherwise about $8600 off MSRP. Not bad.

I got the 2003 Lariat 4.6 with no options for right at $24k in Tampa. Brandon Ford has an ad right now for a Lariat 4x4 5.4 with tow package for $27,995. They have a King Ranch 5.4 2x4 for the same price. I bought mine through the internet office and had a very good experience. Tom Myers runs the internet office. Go to www.brandonford.com and check out what they are offering. Could give you some leverage with the Atlanta folks. Heck, its not a bad drive from ATL to TPA. Or, pay $200 to fly down, and road trip back with the new truck!

My Dad works at a Maryland Ford dealer and I was able to get his D plan. I just bought a 2003 screw xlt 4x4, 5.4L,tow package, 3.55 limited slip, sliding rear window, skid plates, two tone paint, factory running boards(cab stepps), owl all terain tires. It stickered for $34,150 including destination, but no tax or tags. I was able to get it for $27,200 including tax and tags($25,xxx before t&t). I hope this helps.

I paid $28,600 and change, sticker $38,170:

2003 Screw 4X4 Lariat FX4
6 Disk CD
Power Moonroof
Power Sliding Rear Window
Bed Extender
Leather
3.73 LS
17" Cast Aluminum Rims
Rancho Shocks
Really like the garage door opener

etc. etc etc....

I used the "X" plan plus the following rebates:

Supercrew - $2,500
"X" Plan Rebate - $500
Ford Loyalty Program - $1,000 (I've owned a few )
Military (Retired USAF) - $750

= $4,750 in rebates. Another reason I decided not to wait on the 2004's. I also had the college grad but they wouldn't let me combine it with the military one.

Last week I A-planned my brother-in-law a 2003 XLT Screw,
4 x 2, 5.4, 3.55 LS, sliding rear window, bed liner, running boards, trailer towing, and somethings I am forgetting,
dark shadow grey, that listed for somewhere around $30,000, for $22,450. Great deal in my book.
Guess he liked mine so much that he had to have one.
