I have one teeny tiny ding in one of my doors (was there when I bought it... used it as a negotiation point... successfully I might add)... and you're right Dennis. It definately brings it to the surface. *shrugs* The price you pay to play the game I suppose.

If you double-park at the back of the parking lot like a SCrew owner is supposed to, you won't have any parking lot dings.

No one parks way back up there except us, 'vette, and classic car owners.

wax

Im sure everyone here has a favorite wax, heres my humble opinion. I have a garage full of wax, from mequirs to zymol, gold glass, proffessional, spray on, wipe off.... blah... Best wax on the market is Collonite Fleet Wax. It is sold in marine, and aero shops. It is used mostly for boats, and airplanes. Heres the story.. I purchased a brand new 03 Black Lariat Screw, some lot monkey must of waxed it with a dirty rag, dipped in sand. Black, as you all know, show every single minute swirl mark. The day I purchased it it was cloudy. Next day the sun came up, and holy crap!! Looked like hell. I tried every wax in my garage, no good. I went up and got some zymol, worked great!!! Took the marks out, but the shine wasnt there, and I couldnt get a good even gloss. I put the Collonite on top of it, and it was amazing. Perfect shine, no swirl marks. I have used Collonite on my boat, and it lasts a year, as they claim. Dirt comes right off the waxed parts, and sticks to the non-waxed parts.

When I detail the ol' Expy, it looks like a 5,000 lb black mirror.

I need to do that again, and it's supposed to last all year. My Expy has endured 3 roasting Texas Summers, and my paint looks better than 90% of all the Expy's I've seen on the road.
