Question Airbag light on

My airbag light came on this weekend and I am wondering if this has happened to anyone on the board, my 2002 S-Crew has 33000 miles on it and I was kinda surprised that the light already came on... Not a huge deal really but it is always a pain to get off work and take the thing in to get looked at. The only thing that I could think of is the grill guard that I added about six months ago... I have heard that they can cause airbag problems, but I dunno... Any ideas? Thanks!

air bag solution

I know you may not have the time, but being is that it is still under warranty. That is up until 50,000 or 5 years for safety restraint systems. That would be your best bet, I'm sure your truck will run fine till you get it to the garage,

I have a 2001 supercrew and I had a air bag sensor go out that was in the steering column. Fixed under warranty. No warranty would have cost me about $200 plus to get it fixed.

You don't want to know how much it costs to replace if the bags do go off. I can say hind site is great for me when it happens to someone else.

good luck
