22 Inch Wiper Mod Again....

Rockpick et al,

I ordered a set of wiperblades from www.silblade.com in the 22 inch size.

I put them on this past weekend and would'nt you know, it rained tonight on my commute home.

I must say that having the 22 inch blades makes a HUGE difference!

The above mentioned site is where I purchased them. They are a bit pricey at 38 dollars per set (includes shipping), but they are AWESOME ! The thing is that these blades are made from silicone and not rubber. I have two friends that swear by em and now Im hooked. They are guaranteed for 5 years to boot.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I can e-mail you more details. Just thought I would pass it along!

Jim

Got it man. Thanks. Looks like they are VERY customer oriented. I like that in a company...

Thanks for the info again. I appreciate it!

No problem man! That is what this board is for u know? You helped me out an awful lot with the Xenarc's so its the least I could do!

Take care and let me know how you make out if you order them.

I'm still kicking this around but, I'm struggling to spend $40 on wiper blades.

I believe that they're a quality product but, $40? Jag, are they really worth it over a pair of ANCOs for about $19?

Rockpick,

Look at it this way. These wipers are going to last for five years. You will spend more than 40 bucks over five years on wiper blades anyway. So why not make the purchase?

Yes, I believe they are way better than Anco's, since that is what I had on my truck prior to the Silblade's. IMO its worth it. Also, look at it this way, with all the $$ you have spent modding your KR, is it worth it to stress over another 20 bucks on wipers?

Just my .02 cents.

Jim

P.S. I do not work for Silblade!

That's what I used to get too. They are more like 22 bucks where I live, so 15 is cheap.

Believe me, these wipers are really good. Guess it all depends if you want rubber blades or silicone which is what these are. Or more importantly, to spend the $$$$!

Ordering the siliblades today. After driving down the road to grab a bite of lunch, I realized immediately that it's time to replace the blades.

I'm willing to step out on a ledge and buy a good set...

I think I'm going to get the regular Silblades versus the ultra silblade.

I don't have a need for colored blades, carbon fiber look, or a colored housings... $19 per won't be too hard to fork out...
