Well did the world stop spinning because RP finally decided to buy wipers. LOL it only took a few months to decided it was the right time. You will enjoy them but I only paid $6.00 for my anco blades and they work the best out of all the others I had tried.

I'm going to order them... just haven't had a chance yet. We're so freaking busy at work that it isn't even funny...

We could hire another 3 geologists and still be busier than hell...

I'm begining to realize what REAL STRESS is made of...

Rollwave,

Thanks for the link. I didn't get a chance to buy them today either as I was drilling wells all damn day... geesh... these 15 hour days are starting to become VERY VERY tiresome...

Looks like we can save a few bucks from that site...

Well, I just ordered them...

Total was $30.42 (including S&H) versus buying them from silblade.com and spending $38 (including S&H). Saved a whopping $7.50!!

Every buck counts though!

Thanks again for that site Rollwave. I do appreciate it.

Oh yeah, the link you posted is for the 21" blade. They do have the 22" available as well.

Hey RP,

So you finally took the plunge and saved a few bucks too boot! That's great.

My only question is are the blades that you ordered made specifically for your Ford? I know on silblades website you have to specify the make, model, and year. I did not notice it on that site.

Let me know and let us all know what you think of the wipers!

I seriously doubt that they're making them specifically for a Ford, Chevy, or Audi for that case. They're silblade brand and, I'm assuming, that they're going to be the same across the boards.

The reason that they ask for year and model and such is so they can ship you the right size per the manufacturers specs.

I'll let you know how I like em'.

Your probably right. I was just concerned more so that you get the correct adapter (I needed one) that they come with. My set came with three adapters and the blades.

Let me know how you like em!

Won't spend that much on blades, it rains like 5% of the year here and I am parked out in the sun almost all the time. I have to replace blades every year regardless of how much they cost.

Dcovell,

Don't blame you for not wanting to get them based upon your rainfall amount. But if you move to a rainy climate, I would recommend them.

If you replace your blades every year (not just you but most people) multiply that by five years. It may end up being the same if not more than the cost of silblades. They are guaranteed for 5 years.

My friend lives in Hawaii and his truck is in the hot hawaiian sun all the time. He has had his for about 3 years I think now, and he tells me his wipers are just a good as the day he bought them.

Obviously for you, I guess it does not make sense. To each his own man!

I'm anxious to get them in... I'll definately let my feelings be known about them.

It's definately a wad of cash to spend on wipers but, 5 years... I figure I'm going to spend that amount VERY easily in a period of 5 years...
